I created a series based off of an original painting in my sketchbook where a group of elephants were floating up from the juice of a strawberry. The original piece was very emotional and conceptual and actually began as a PCM that had many other components. In this, the elephants are beautiful things born out of wounds inflicted senselessly, and rising above them.

SUCCESS: Like usual, I feel like these additions do not do the original drawing justice, because the detail and emotion in the original piece was so much more raw. But I was excited to finish my first series, and I think as a whole they were a success. The lemon one feels a little muddy though.
IN THE FUTURE: I'm excited to do more series. I like things a lot when they have friends
